Who are your customers?
We connect and serve people in the Pacific Northwest whose mission is to serve the common good of our communities.
Our primary customers are Pacific Northwest mission-driven organizations, including non-profits, public sector entities, and socially responsible enterprises. We work with leaders seeking to enhance employee well-being, prevent burnout, and reduce retention through improved talent acquisition, development, and management.
Additionally, we help people find compatible work that aligns with their skills, interests, and values. We don’t just stop at placement. We foster environments where frontline workers and leaders thrive together to achieve outcome-based goals that serve our planet. Read our vision.
What are your offerings? Our flagship product, Resilience360 is a holistic approach to building workforce resilience. It works with our DayBalancer networking app, matching people to work that supports our common good (patent pending). Our DayBalancer Workshop helps strengthen organization resilience, while also leading to additional custom offerings and tools to help teams achieve goals with balance.

What is the primary measure of DayBalancer’s success? Our measures of success directly ties to your measures of success. Establishing meaningful metrics, monitoring systems, and key indicators that help signal and address imbalance in the workforce. Ultimately, we want to help put funds in your bank so you can invest more in your mission. We help add to your quarterly or annual reports with shared visuals of meaningful, measurable outcomes. These measures go beyond beyond delivery, budget, NPS, or retention goals.
What types of missions do you support ? We work with anyone seeking to help meet the needs of our people, waters, animals, and lands 🌎. We support initiatives that improve safety, physical health, mental health, food security, accessible education, sustainable housing, animal welfare, and conservation. We work to support our Global Goals and Doughnut Economy, starting within the Pacific NW.
Who leads DayBalancer? Founded in 2016 by Jessie Upp to empower frontline workers and families to prioritize self-care, the company was incorporated in 2023 as a certified woman-owned small business based in Edmonds, WA, to provide full-service talent management for both public and private sectors in the Pacific Northwest.
